Perseverance

I noticed the presence of a Rhino in a tree in the side yard today.

The Rhino is even stated by some to be the reference of Unicorns in the Bible.

In the Dream Arc, the Rhino is associated with the gift of the 38th Gene Key: Perseverance.

I’m reminded that this is my South Node - 38.1 in Personality, 38.5 in Design.

I move closer and closer to the age of transition into the North Node portion of the story.

Even then…perseverance has played its part, and continues to do so.

The Line Companion speaks of 38.1 as “Qualification”, the psychic gift of knowing when to fight and what to fight for…what is of value to the individual.  The 38.5 as “Alienation”, states “the outside world sees the 38 as an alienated being, somebody who is fighting in their own world, somebody who is really not connected to the rest because they seem to be caught up in some kind of struggle about something. This energy is seen as alienating energy by the outside.  A stage in opposition where one is totally isolated. This is the universalization of the pressure to be individually intuitive. It is absolutely perfect. The individual is always at their best when they are isolated within the aloneness of their own being because they have to resolve everything in life within their own context. They are individual.”

There’s quite the flavoring of a unicorn in that.  One of a kind, fighting the battles worth fighting for, only one that can walk its own path.

The irony in that last paragraph above, is that I see that in everyone, universally.

What does the Rhino bring on this sunny Friday?  A reflection of all the things I’m persevering.  A reminder of the drive for higher purpose.  The unwavering faith (thanks to the perseverance in many struggles throughout life) in my own path regardless of outside projections and influences (3/5 here).  The look ahead to the coming North Node (39.1 in Personality, 39.5 in Design).

The Line Companion calls 39.1 “Disengagement”, “The energy to provoke by refusing to confront obstacles. The obstacle is the resulting provocation in the other. Think about that. When you are provoking somebody, you tease them. What you are teasing is that you need to get exactly the right potential for that teasing. Not everybody will respond in the same way.  Those people who will be provoked by that teasing are not for you, but you have to find who is for you. Thus, you keep on provoking and every time you meet the obstacle, their response to that provocation, you back away and try to find another one.  You are looking for the spirit.  Understand that the 39th gate is a gate that has deep inside of it the only instrument that is out there to look for the spirit. When these human beings stop provoking, we have less and less people who are looking for the spirit. For every 39, there is a resonance in the world. The spirit can be found but it is a research, after all.”  It then calls 39.5 “Single-Mindedness”, “This line is called Single-mindedness. The rare ability not to overcome but to bypass obstacles. There is no one to be provoked out there, in that sense. They do not get a chance. What happens to these people is that they very rarely find the right spirit. This is a time that we are living in. The 39 provokes to find the spirit. That is its true nature. That is the first line. The fifth line is how everybody else sees it. How everybody else sees it as wrong. What they see is that provocation should not be necessary and it is something to be avoided. If provocation is avoided, no spirit can be found. These people are projected on that they are single-minded, that they are the ones that can get it done. They do not run into any problems because they do not get the constant provocation because other people are very aware of this capacity in them.”

As the gift of Gene Key 39 is Dynamism, it is the key to Perseverance…thanks programming partner.  The art of flowing like water despite obstacles, to the places the current guides us to, persevering without resistance to what is - accepting what becomes.

Happy Friday.
